  • 00:00 – Introduction
  • 04:15 – Main Topic (The Spiritual Age: What Lurks Beyond Postmodernism)

In episode ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY-ONE Wade and Mike discuss the ebb and flow of culture throughout history through the lens of two men: Pitirim Sorokin and Frederic Baue. Sorokin was the Russian born sociologist who founded the Sociology department at Harvard University. Baue is a retired Lutheran pastor who took Sorokin’s book, The Crisis of Our Age, and applied it to contemporary culture in his book The Spiritual Society: What Lurks Beyond Postmodernism. We invite you to listen to the guys apply these authors’ works to the church and society.
